3M™ Wrap Film Series 2080 is a multi-layer dual cast adhesive-backed film for vehicle wraps, accents and partial decoration wraps. This series features more conformable and stretchable film layers vs. 3M™ Wrap Film Series 1080, providing a better fit around curves and in channels and a smooth, sleek appearance. Optimised adhesive provides an exceptional installation experience related to reduced initial tack and improved positionability.* 3M™ Controltac™ technology minimises initial contact areas for easy repositioning, and 3M™ Comply™ technology uses the latest non-visible air release channels that make it very easy to smooth out bubbles.* 3M™ Wrap Film Series 2080 is available in nearly 100 colors, patterns and textures including gloss, high gloss, satin, matte, color flip and more. With roll widths up to 1524 mm, installers can apply film to nearly any section of the vehicle without seams. The warranty gives customers confidence with up to eight years of protection on vertical applications.
Create a truly distinctive look and a sleek appearance for vehicles with 3M™ Wrap Film 2080 Series. Our 90 micron coloured cast films offer improved productivity and are easy to install. They’re more conformable than 3M™ Wrap Film Series 1080, and have a better fit around curves and in channels. Manufactured with two colour layers for dimensional stability and durability, they can be used straight from the box, with no need to print or apply an overlaminate. They come in 1.524 m wide rolls, allowing you to cover entire vehicle sections, and a large variety of gloss, matte (e.g. matte black car), metallic, satin, pearl and textured colours. The protective film layer on gloss films only is highly conformable, thin film on top of the vehicle wrap film. It helps you to avoid scratches when installing, even on the most complex projects and curved body panels and it can be removed quickly, easily and cleanly after install. Surface impressions on glossy films are reduced significantly, and the substrate is protected from scratches during application to deliver a beautiful finish. All films have our Comply™ and Controltac™ Adhesive which is a pressure-activated, slideable and repositionable adhesive. It has non-visible air release channels for virtually no air bubbles. The 2080 series is backed by 3M technical support, training and certification programmes to help you and your staff keep up with the latest application techniques.
